1. Who we are
Due Form Editions is a publishing imprint of Everyday Arc Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17064023. Our registered office is 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Due Form” mean Everyday Arc Ltd trading as Due Form Editions. “You” means the person buying the edition.
If you buy an edition as a gift, you remain the buyer for payment, cancellation and refunds. The recipient receives library access and the licence for that edition.
Email support@dueformeditions.com or use the form on our Support page to contact us.
2. How the sale works
Stripe Managed Payments processes payment for your order.
Each purchase is sold through Link, LLC (trading as Onelink), a Stripe company, which is the seller of record. Stripe’s checkout shows this as “Sold through Onelink”. This means:
- you pay on Stripe’s own checkout page, and Stripe charges any VAT or sales tax that applies;
- Stripe sends your receipt, which is your record of payment and tax, and an invoice where one is needed;
- refunds are paid through Stripe, to the card or account you paid with;
- your bank or card statement shows the payment as LINK.COM* or ONELINK.COM* followed by our name;
- Onelink’s “Sold through Onelink Terms” also apply to the payment, and Onelink support at support.onelink.com can help with payment questions.
We supply the edition. We are responsible for what you receive: the files, the Interactive Edition, your library, updates, the licence and help with using the product. Contact us first if a file, download or Interactive Edition does not work as described.
3. What you can buy
Each product is sold in up to three editions. The product page shows which are on sale and lists exactly what each one contains.
Single Edition. One cover of your choice, in the formats listed on the product page. Most editions include a Print PDF, a Low-Ink PDF, a Fillable PDF and a Tablet PDF, and some come in two paper sizes. Every Single Edition includes Start Here, the completed example and the licence.
Interactive Edition. The Single Edition files for one cover, plus the Interactive Edition for completing the record in a supported web browser.
Complete Edition. Every cover for the product in the formats listed, plus the Interactive Edition where the product has one.
Every edition is supplied digitally. Nothing is posted to you.
4. Prices and tax
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where VAT is charged. The total you pay is shown on our checkout page and again on Stripe’s payment page before you pay.
Stripe may offer to show the price in your local currency. If you choose that, Stripe sets the exchange rate and shows the amount before you pay.
We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects an order you have already paid for.
If a price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before supplying the edition, and you can choose to pay the correct price or have a full refund.
5. Placing an order
- Choose the product, the edition and, for Single and Interactive, the cover.
- Review your order on our checkout page and tick the box for immediate access (section 6).
- Pay on Stripe’s checkout page.
The contract is made when Stripe confirms your payment. We then email you to confirm the order, which edition you bought, and the words you ticked for immediate access. Stripe sends the receipt separately.
Most payments are confirmed within moments. Some bank payments take a few days to confirm; your edition is added when they do. Occasionally we check a payment before supplying it, for example if the amount does not match the order. We email you when the check is complete. You do not need to pay again.
Stripe may decline or cancel a payment it believes is fraudulent or made in error. If that happens after you have paid, the payment is refunded.
6. Immediate access and your right to cancel
Editions are supplied when your payment is confirmed. To complete checkout you tick this box:
I want immediate access to the digital edition, and I understand that I lose my right to cancel once supply begins.
(When you buy more than one edition, the box says “digital editions”.)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, a consumer buying digital content online normally has 14 days to cancel. Because you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that you lose that right, it ends when supply begins, which is when the edition is added to your library.
You keep your rights if an edition is faulty or not as described (section 11). The Refund and Cancellation Policy explains these rights and how refunds work.
7. Your library
You sign in to your library with an email code, not a password.
Your editions are linked to the email address you use at checkout. To open your library, enter that email address and we send you a six-digit code. Use each code once within 10 minutes.
You are signed out of your library after 30 minutes. While it is open you can choose Stay signed in for another 30 minutes, up to 4 hours after you signed in. After that, you sign in with a new code. Sign out on all devices ends every open library session for your email address.
In your library you choose a cover and a format and download the file. Download links work for 5 minutes. Each file’s size is shown before you download.
Changing your cover. For a Single or Interactive Edition, you can change the cover once, within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have not yet downloaded a file with a cover. The new cover replaces the one you chose. Start Here, the completed example and the licence do not count as downloads for this.
Buying the same edition twice. If you buy the same edition again by mistake, your library shows it. Tell us and we will refund the duplicate.
Keep a copy of your files. We keep the library running for as long as we reasonably can, and the files you have downloaded are yours to keep under the licence.
If you lose access to your purchase email address, or typed it wrongly at checkout, contact us with your order reference, and once we have checked the order we will move your editions to the right address.
7a. Gifts
To send an order as a gift, select Send this order as a gift at checkout and enter the recipient’s email address. You can also enter your name to include in the gift email.
When Stripe confirms payment, the editions appear in the library linked to the recipient’s email address. We send the recipient a gift email and gift code. We send you the order confirmation, and Stripe sends you the payment receipt.
The recipient signs in with their email address and a six-digit library code. The gift code identifies the gift when they contact support. It is not a sign-in code.
Supply begins when the edition appears in the recipient’s library. The right to cancel because you changed your mind ends at that point, as explained in section 6.
Any refund is paid to you, the buyer, through the card or account used for payment. Downloads for a refunded gift close in the recipient’s library. If the recipient has been notified of the gift, we also tell them that its downloads have closed.
If you entered the wrong recipient address, contact support@dueformeditions.com with the order reference and correct address. If the recipient later changes their email address, they can contact us with the gift code and new address.
A Due Form Correspondence new-reader code cannot be used for a gift order.
7b. Upgrades
Your library offers an upgrade when an eligible higher purchase option for a title you own is on sale. For example, you may upgrade a Single Edition to Interactive Edition or Complete Edition.
Upgrade price
The upgrade price is the current price of the selected option minus the amount already paid for that purchase, including earlier upgrades. Your library and Stripe checkout show the amount before you pay.
Access after payment
You confirm immediate access when buying an upgrade. The right to cancel because you changed your mind ends when the upgraded edition becomes available in your library, as explained in section 6.
Your library then shows that purchase under the new option. The publication version stays the same. If the new option includes one cover, it retains your selected cover. The cover change described in section 7 is not available after an upgrade.
Refunding an upgrade
If an upgrade is refunded, access to the files and features supplied only by that upgrade closes. Your purchase returns to the option available before the upgrade. Files and features included with that earlier option remain available.
If the original purchase is refunded or its payment is reversed after a dispute, the upgrade closes too. We also refund the upgrade payment.
A Due Form Correspondence new-reader code cannot be used for an upgrade.
8. The Interactive Edition
The Interactive Edition runs in your web browser. You open it from your library, signed in with your purchase email address.
- Your entries stay on your device. What you type, and any photographs you add, are saved in your browser’s own storage on that device. We never receive them and cannot see them. PDFs you export are made on your device.
- Backups are yours. You can save a backup file of your project at any time and open it again later, on the same device or another one. The backup file is stored wherever you choose to keep it.
- Any number of browsers. There is no limit on the number of browsers or devices you use.
- Clearing your browser data removes your entries from that browser, and private browsing does not keep them. Save a backup regularly. We cannot recover entries that only existed in your browser.
The product page lists the browsers we have tested.
If we ever have to stop running an Interactive Edition, we will give at least 90 days’ notice where we can, so you can save a backup and export your pages. A shorter period may apply if a security risk, the law or a supplier’s failure leaves us no choice. The PDF files you have downloaded are not affected.
9. Updates
Updates within a major version are free. If you bought version 1, you receive versions 1.1, 1.2 and so on at no cost, in your library.
- Single: corrections and improvements to your cover and formats, and any new standard format we add, for your cover.
- Interactive: the Single updates, plus updates to the Interactive Edition.
- Complete: all of the above, plus any new cover or companion file we add to the same major version.
When an update is ready, your library shows what changed. Choose Update to move to the new version. The version you had stays in your library, and you can still download it.
A new major version (for example version 2.0, or a second edition) is a substantially revised publication and may be sold separately. You keep the version you bought and its updates.
We do not promise a fixed update schedule. Each update comes with a short note of what changed.
10. Compatibility
Each product page lists the software, devices and browsers we have tested. A file may work elsewhere, but we only promise what is listed. If our published compatibility information is wrong, your rights under section 11 apply.
10a. Due Form Correspondence new-reader code
When a Complete Edition is on sale, people who join Due Form Correspondence and confirm their email address receive a code for 20% off one Complete Edition. The code:
- is for a first order, from an email address that has not bought from us before;
- works once, on one Complete Edition, until the date in the email (30 days after it is sent);
- cannot be combined with another offer or exchanged for cash;
- cannot be used for a gift or an upgrade.
You enter the code on our checkout page. Stripe’s payment page shows the reduction before you pay.
11. Faulty or misdescribed editions
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
If a file is faulty, missing, will not open in software we list as supported, or the edition is not as described, tell us at support@dueformeditions.com. We will repair or replace it. If we cannot do that within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a price reduction, which can be a full refund. If faulty content we supplied damages your device or other digital content, we will repair the damage or compensate you.
Refunds are paid through Stripe, within 14 days of us agreeing that one is due.
12. Licence
Buying an edition gives you a licence to use it. It does not transfer copyright. The Licence Summary below explains the main points, and the full licence comes with every edition.
13. Using the editions
Our editions provide pages for your own records, plans and calculations. They are not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Where a product deals with a specialist matter, its own scope note says what it does and does not cover.
You are responsible for the information, photographs and other material you add, and for having permission to use material that belongs to someone else.
14. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses where you bought an edition for your business.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.
15. Changes to these terms
The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown when you placed it. We may update these terms for future orders, and the date at the top of this section shows when they last changed.
16. Complaints
Email support@dueformeditions.com or use the form on our Support page. We reply by email. If we need more time to investigate, we will tell you when to expect a full reply.
17. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep any rights that the law where you live gives you.
