What you get

What is different in this setup

Anyone choosing a contract with a monthly charge, such as broadband, an energy tariff or software, where a low start price hides a dearer term.

  • An Each month column, counted over 24 months in the total.
  • The length of the comparison is 24 months instead of 12, changeable on Settings.
  • Quote dates are on, so an offer’s end date is marked.

Questions

Are my builder entries sent to Due Form?

No. The builder uses them in your browser to make the workbook on your device.

Information is sent to Due Form when you submit a form or use another service described on the How it works page.

How the utilities work

Does the total include the monthly cost?

Yes. Each month is multiplied by the number of months on the Settings sheet and added to the price and one-off fees, so two contracts are compared over the same period.

Can I compare contracts of different lengths?

No. The total uses one period for every row. Choose the length you expect to stay, and add a Doubts note for a provider whose minimum term is longer.
