Event Planner · Free · No account

A conference planning spreadsheet with income and a risk register.

The conference setup adds an Income sheet for tickets, sponsorship, donations and grants, each with an expected and a received amount, and a Risks sheet that rates likelihood against impact. The Overview then shows received money minus spending to date.

  • Excel 2016 and later
  • Calculations checked in LibreOffice and Google Sheets
  1. Choose the event typePick Private, Wedding, Business, Conference, Fundraiser, Launch or Community. Each switches on the sheets it needs, and you can change any of them.
  2. Name phases and costsEdit the phases, such as Bookings and Final week, and the budget categories. Both lists can also be changed on the Lists sheet later.
  3. Set date and budgetDownload the workbook and, on Settings, type the event date, expected attendance and total budget. Tasks then count back from that date.

Questions

Are my builder entries sent to Due Form?

No. The builder uses them in your browser to make the workbook on your device.

Information is sent to Due Form when you submit a form or use another service described on the How it works page.

How the utilities work

How is a risk rated?

Choose Low, Medium or High for likelihood and for impact. The Rating is the two multiplied, from 1 to 9, and the owner and planned response are recorded beside it.

Does it show whether income covers costs?

Yes. Enter expected and received ticket income, and the Overview shows those totals and received income minus spending.
