Pros and cons of a job offer, with who each point affects.
The job offer setup has two options, Take the new job and Stay where I am, with Who it affects switched on. A partner’s commute or a child’s school can be recorded against the person it affects, and cons that cannot be fixed are listed as possible deal-breakers.
- Excel 2016 and later
- Calculations checked in LibreOffice and Google Sheets
- Write the questionType the question, such as ‘Should we move?’, and list up to four options, one per line. For a yes-or-no question, one option is enough.
- Choose the columnsSwitch Can it be fixed, Fact or feeling and Who it affects on or off, and add up to eight columns of your own, such as Cost or Date.
- Download and list pointsDownload the workbook, open Pros and Cons and type one point per row. The Summary counts them for each option and lists any deal-breakers.

Questions
Are my builder entries sent to Due Form?
No. The builder uses them in your browser to make the workbook on your device.
Information is sent to Due Form when you submit a form or use another service described on the How it works page.
Where do I record the offer deadline?
On the Settings sheet, in the Decide by date. The Summary then shows the days to decide, and you can clear the date if the offer has no deadline.
Can it compare salary figures?
Not as numbers. It lists points, so write the salary as a pro or con. For the full cost of two offers, the Comparison Tracker adds up figures over the same months.
