A teacher planner for the school year, with deadlines counted.
The teacher setup has six categories: Term, Training day, Assessment, Report deadline, Parents’ evening and Trip. Enter each date once on the Events sheet and it is shaded on the overview and its month page. Upcoming shows the days left to the next 20.
- Excel 2016 and later
- Calculations checked in LibreOffice and Google Sheets
- Choose the school yearPick the year, such as 2026 to 2027, and set the first month. September is the default. Choose 12 or 13 months.
- Name your categoriesWrite up to seven, such as Term, Exam or Trip. Each gets a colour, and a key explaining the colours prints on the pages.
- Download and add datesType one row per date on the Events sheet. The overview, month pages and Upcoming sheet update from the entries on the Events sheet.

Questions
Are my builder entries sent to Due Form?
No. The builder uses them in your browser to make the workbook on your device.
Information is sent to Due Form when you submit a form or use another service described on the How it works page.
Can I record which class a date is for?
Yes. Add an extra column such as Class or Year group on the Events sheet before you download. You can then filter the events list by that column.
Can I plan a half-term break?
Yes. Give each break two rows on the Events sheet, one for the first day and one for the last, under a category such as Term or Holiday.
