A free trial tracker that marks each trial before its first charge.
This setup is for trials. Each row has a status, a Trial ends date and a renewal date. A trial shows ◐ with the days left as its end nears, then ●. Notice days add a Cancel by date, worked out from the next renewal.
- Excel 2016 and later
- Calculations checked in LibreOffice and Google Sheets
- Name your categoriesWrite the categories you want, such as Streaming, Apps or Cloud storage, one per line, and choose the currency.
- Choose the columnsSwitch on Free trials, Notice to cancel, Review, Offer price ends, Paid with, Account email or reference, and Shared with.
- Download and add servicesStart in row 6 of the Subscriptions sheet. Type each service once with its cost, how often it charges and a renewal date.

- Most calculations match ExcelSome calculations on the Summary sheet and the Subscriptions sheet do not work in Apple Numbers. Numbers converts list-based dropdowns to plain cells and removes colour markers, sheet protection, frozen headings and number and date validation. Use Excel for all calculations and features.

Questions
Are my builder entries sent to Due Form?
No. The builder uses them in your browser to make the workbook on your device.
Information is sent to Due Form when you submit a form or use another service described on the How it works page.
Does it email or text me?
No. Flags update when you open the workbook. Check Trial ends and Cancel by before the dates shown.
What happens when I decide to stay?
Change the status from Free trial to Active and type the renewal date. The cost then counts towards your monthly and yearly total.
