An equipment and warranty tracker for Excel, with receipts located.
This setup records each piece of equipment with its serial number, bought date, condition, cost and warranty end date. A Photo or receipt column records where the proof of purchase is, and an Assigned to column records who has it. There is no reorder level.

- Name categories and placesEnter your categories and locations, one per line, up to 25 of each. They become the Category and Location dropdowns, and the Summary totals by each.
- Choose the columnsSwitch on reorder level, unit cost, sale price, code, serial number and condition, warranty, last counted, photo or receipt, assigned to, or a Stock Movements sheet.
- Download and list itemsDownload the workbook and open the Inventory sheet. Type one item per row from row 6. The stock status and the Summary update automatically.

Questions
Are my builder entries sent to Due Form?
No. The builder uses them in your browser to make the workbook on your device.
Information is sent to Due Form when you submit a form or use another service described on the How it works page.
Does the workbook store my receipts?
No. The Photo or receipt column contains text that says where the file is, such as a folder name or an email subject. The receipts themselves stay where you saved them.
Does it warn me before a warranty ends?
Yes, inside the file. It marks the row and lists it on the Summary once the end date is within the warning window, 60 days by default. It sends no emails or alerts.
