A deposit and stage payment invoice for the balance due.
The deposit setup adds a Paid already line, so a deposit or an earlier stage payment is taken off the amount due. It has eight lines, no tax, terms of 14 days and a note that the invoice is for the balance after the deposit shown.

Questions
Are my builder entries sent to Due Form?
No. The builder uses them in your browser to make the workbook on your device.
Information is sent to Due Form when you submit a form or use another service described on the How it works page.
Can I invoice the deposit itself?
Yes. Raise an ordinary invoice for the deposit, record it on the tracker, then use Paid already on the later invoice for the balance.
Where do I record the deposit being received?
On the Invoice Tracker, type the amount and date in the Paid and Paid on columns. The balance and status update from there.
