What you get

  1. Totals worked out on every line

Quantity × rate on every line, tax at your standard rate unless you set another, and the amount due after any deposit.

  2. Client details filled in from the Clients sheet

Pick a client and their address and email appear, with the due date and the days to pay from their own terms.

  3. See who has paid

The tracker marks each invoice ◐ Awaiting, ◐ Part paid, ✓ Paid, or ● with the days late.

  4. Tax only if you charge it

Switch VAT, GST or sales tax on or off, and pick the name that suits where you work.

Questions

Are my builder entries sent to Due Form?

No. The builder uses them in your browser to make the workbook on your device.

Information is sent to Due Form when you submit a form or use another service described on the How it works page.

How the utilities work

Can I print it or send it as a PDF?

Yes. In Excel, print or save the Invoice sheet as a PDF. It prints portrait, on one page with up to 12 lines, and runs on to a second page with more.

Does it make a legally valid tax invoice?

The workbook does not check this. Look up the invoicing requirements for your country and tax status, then set the invoice heading, tax details and reference fields to match.

How do I start the next invoice?

Change the invoice number, the date, the client and your reference, then clear the lines, discount and Paid already. Your own details and payment instructions stay. The Summary shows the next unused number.

What do the tracker statuses mean?

The tracker marks each invoice ◐ Awaiting, ◐ Part paid or ✓ Paid, or ● with the days late once the due date passes with a balance left.
