A probation review tracker for Excel, over the first six months.
The probation setup covers six months and four areas: Learning the role, Delivery, Working with others and Ways of working. Feedback and Development are included. Self-rating is off.
- Excel 2016 and later
- Calculations checked in LibreOffice and Google Sheets
- Name the areasEnter the headings your review uses, one per line, such as Delivery or Teamwork. They become the Area dropdown on the Objectives and Feedback sheets.
- Pick period and sheetsPick three months, six months or a year. Switch the Feedback sheet, the Development sheet and a self-rating on or off, and add up to eight columns of your own.
- Download and fill inDownload the workbook, list your objectives with how each is measured, and add feedback as you receive it. The Summary shows the days left to the review.

Numbers converts list-based dropdowns to plain cells and removes colour markers, sheet protection, frozen headings and number and date validation. Use Excel for these calculations and features.

Questions
Are my builder entries sent to Due Form?
No. The builder uses them in your browser to make the workbook on your device.
Information is sent to Due Form when you submit a form or use another service described on the How it works page.
Can I add the dates of my three-month check?
Yes. Give an objective a due date at the three-month point, and use the Notes column for what was agreed. The Summary shows the days left to the final review.
Does the workbook tell me whether I will pass?
No. It records objectives, status and feedback for the review, and your employer decides the probation outcome.
